J is for Jet

Jets!  I have a lot of boys in my program, this year!  75% of my combined classes is boys.  I figured that "jets" would be very exciting for them, but if you didn't know this - they are also very exciting for the girls, because we see them zooming by all the time.  Everyone stops to look at the jets and someone always points them out when they are flying near by.  They are loud and they are fast! Jets are exciting and exciting to talk about.

I happen to love Jj, because it's the first letter of my middle child's name.  Whenever the Sesame Street's "Jumping Jj" song came on, we'd turn it up and jump around.

Here are the photos from that week:

Building the letter J:

During Drama, the children watch and listen to "The Gingerbread Man":

During one of our centers - the children have to match the fish with a number to the blank fish with the matching number of bubbles:

In this center, the children pick a card and then build the sun's rays to match the number on the card:

During music time:

Our birthday girl passing out plates and napkins:

We will put a candle in anything yummy!  Who says it has to be cake or a cupcake?
Children tend to throw cupcakes away, but not pizza!

Too cute!
Getting her birthday present:

This is probably the funniest "silly photo" we've ever taken!

During this week, we went on field trips.  Each class went on a field trip to the Fingerprints Children's Museum in Hemet.  They both have their own blog entry, but check out both.
