M/W/F Fire Station fieldtrip

On April 18th, the M/W/F class had the wonderful opportunity to go to real fire station on the Pechanga Indian Reservation!  We saw where the fire fighter lived during their shift, learned about their equipment, and even got to spray water out of a hose!  Enjoy these photos!

That short wall in the background is where the hose gets laid out and cleaned.  Who knew?  It was something I never thought about.

The cutest question of the day from a 4 year old: "Is that a jet pack?  Can it help you fly?"  "No," said the firefighter, "...it's an oxygen tank.  It helps us breathe."
